In my spare time....

Since I don't have to worry about school any more and I don't ever see my husband now that he spends all his time at work, school or doing homework and studying, I have started working on all the projects I never had time to in the past. Last week it was painting some shelves and rocking chair a new color and reupholstering it. It took longer than I thought, but now that they are done, I love them.
The before and after of the shelves

Before and after of the rocking chair
Work in progress
Doing some last touch ups

Making a few blankets has also been on the list of things to get done so our extra bedroom now has sewing stuff everywhere.

These are some of my favorite ones that I am working on

wo! i'm so impressed! so impressed. I ad aspirations to do that to a rocker once too, I tried to recover it, but failed miserably and never got around to re-finishing it, so we DI'ed it. SO I have serious respect for you. You are so crafty, that stuff takes patience and you are really good at it. Kudos big time!

Hey...how much do you charge for a "boys will be boys" blanket! I LOVE it and would like to place an order!

Look at your being so crafty. I love the the quilts on the bottom they are so cute. When I have kids you are getting a phone call to make my quilts. :) Hope all is well with you and Nate.

You were going to run the St. George marathon? You are as insane as Marsh. I hope everything is ok and that maybe you can run it next year. I admire you for even having the desire.
