So I was making a blanket for Nate's cousin who is having a little boy at the end of July and decided to try a new batting that I had heard so many good things about and I LOVED IT!!! It made the blanket so soft and snuggly that I wanted to take it to bed. It is the 100% natural cotton kind and I will never go back to the old stuff again!!!!

You can get tickets for the temple open house at:
www.lds.org/reservations. They released 20,000 more tickets this morning, so you should still be able to get tickets for a weekend. The open house is from July 11 through August 15.
Good call on making blankets for a new baby. My take on them is the softer the better, and I think our little boy agrees.
